Revenue Science Appoints Nick Johnson SVP Biz Dev

Revenue Science, Bellevue, Wash., has named Nick Johnson to the post of senior-VP of business development. Johnson, who will be based in the company's New York office, will lead efforts to educate and partner with media agencies, advertisers and web publishers that looking to deploy Revenue Science's behavioral targeting services. Johnson is an ad and media vet who worked at Turner Interactive, and in business development roles at Time Warner's CNN, CNNMoney and CNNSI. Most recently, he was national sales director at Lycos and was responsible for building a sales team and cultivating branded ad revenue. Johnson said his first order of business in his new gig is to meet with digital media agency executives. He hopes to develop a consultative approach with the interactive community. Revenue Science has scored deals with CBS MarketWatch and Dow Jones' WSJ.com. The company says it has additional deals pending with online publishers.
