After three years of sluggish momentum because of economic and terrorism woes, the global media and entertainment industry is picking up speed and is set to grow at a compound annual rate of 6.3% over
the 2004-08 time frame to hit $1.67 trillion in 2008, according to the fifth annual edition of PricewaterhouseCoopers' "Global Entertainment and Media Outlook."
