A new video search engine called Lumerias launched Thursday claiming the ability to process all major video formats, including WindowsMedia, QuickTime and Flash Video. This is supposed to allow the
engine's users to find videos from all kinds of sources and all major social video sites. Lumerias said it is presently developing algorithms to automatically "make sense" of the indexed videos' image
data and to transcribe their content.
