In collaboration with Unilever's Dove Hair Care and the "Real Beauty" campaign, Larter is on a mission, according to Unilever's press release, "to inspire women to start loving the hair they have and not compare it to the unattainable images they see in the media and Hollywood."
The actress will use Dove Hair Care products for five days before the event and forego a hair stylist.
In New York City on Tuesday, Larter joined Dove Hair Care at a session designed to build self-esteem in pre-teen/teen members of the Girl Scouts of the USA.
