HBO said on Friday that due to star Sarah Jessica Parker’s newly-announced pregnancy, there will only be eight "Sex and the City" episodes next season instead of the usual 13. The cable network said
two upcoming episodes are already finished, and the other six will be shot starting in early May. The fifth season is scheduled to begin airing in July.
