WPP Buys Stake In Small Italian Digital Shop

WPP Group PLC has purchased a 20% stake in OOT Srl, a small Italian digital and interactive agency with $1.5 million in revenues for 2006. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. "This investment continues WPP's strategy of developing its business in fast-growing sectors and strengthening its capabilities in digital media," the company said in a statement.
