Publicis Garners 12 Creative Media Finalist Slots

Publicis' Fallon unit has been named a finalist in four categories - Online Media Branding, Television, Radio and Creative - of Media magazine's 2007 Creative Media Awards, the most of any agency in this year's awards competition.

Publicis' MediaVest unit was named a finalist in three categories (Multicultural, New/Emerging/Experimental Media, and Research/Consumer Insights), while its Spark Communications (Email and Research/Consumer Insights) and Starcom (Interactive/Enhanced Television and Branded Content/Product Placement) units are each finalists in two categories. GM Planworks (Interactive/Enhanced Television) is a finalist in one category, giving Publicis' agencies a total of 12 finalist slots.

Winners in 17 CMA categories, plus a Best in Show, will be announced Oct. 30th during an awards ceremony dinner in New York following Media's Forecast '08 conference. Other multiple finalists include Interpublic's Universal McCann unit and WPP's MindShare.

This marks the fourth year that Media magazine will bestow its Creative Media Awards, which recognize the creative use of media across 17 discrete platforms, planning and research categories.
