Sony Pictures To Bring Minisodes To Verizon V-Cast

Sony Pictures Television will bring its "minisodes" of classic 70s TV shows including "Charlie's Angels" and "The Jeffersons" to mobile phones through a deal with Verizon Wireless. The four- to six-minute versions of episodes will be offered via a dedicated channel on Verizon's V-Cast service. Since debuting on MySpace in June, Sony's Minisode Network has drawn 3.25 million views. Verizon has forged deals with a roster of media partners to date including CBS, NBC, MTV and TV Guide for mobile content on V-Cast.
