NAA Restructures Management

  • January 23, 2003
The Newspaper Association of America has restructured its management, partly due to next month’s retirement of Toni Laws, senior VP for diversity, and David Brown, senior VP for public policy and general counsel for the Association. NAA VP of government affairs Paul Boyle has been named senior VP of government affairs. E. Molly Hemsley will rise from director to VP in that office. In the NAA’s legal department, Rene Milam will become VP of legal affairs and general counsel. Reggie Hall, senior VP of sales and marketing has assumed management of the combined NEXPO and SuperConferences, and the Database Group. Technology Department senior VP Tom Croteau will take over the NAA’s Information Technology Department and will lead the implementation of a new association-management system for NAA. In the Communications Department, director of public affairs Debra Gersh Hernandez becomes VP of external communications, and she adds editor duties of the NAA’s monthly Presstime magazine. The NAA’s Marketing Conference begins Sunday at The Orlando World Center Marriott Resort and Convention Center.
