OfficeMax Pulls Ads From Savage Radio Show

  • November 16, 2007
The Council on American-Islamic Relations says OfficeMax, a leading office products retailer, has stopped advertising on Michael Savage's nationally syndicated radio program because of the host's anti-Muslim views.

The host's "The Savage Nation" airs on more than 300 radio stations nationwide. During his Oct. 29 program, Savage laid into Muslims, Islam and the Quran.

The group says Citrix Systems Inc., a global leader in application delivery infrastructure, also pulled ads.
