Canon, PGA Tour Extend Marketing Pact

Extending its support for professional golf, Canon U.S.A., Inc., has renewed its marketing partnership with the PGA Tour through 2010. As part of the partnership agreement, Canon continues as "The Official Copier, Facsimile, MFP, Printer, Scanner, Camera and Binocular of the PGA Tour and Champions Tour."

Canon will continue to leverage the relationship through client entertainment at tournaments by utilizing player endorsements for outings and appearances and by advertising on PGATour.com and other PGA Tour media platforms.

In addition to the PGA Tour, which Canon has been a marketing partner with since 1999, Canon has long-standing relationships with the Metropolitan Golf Association, the American Junior Golf Association and the Executive Women's Golf Association. The company has also been the title sponsor for the Canon Cup, the leading junior golf match play team competition, since 1990. Also, each season Canon sponsors a number of PGA Tour, Champions Tour and LPGA Professionals.--Nina M. Lentinia
