Denuo, Publicis Groupe's media innovations unit, is losing President Nick Pahade, who will leave the company next month to pursue a new position at ecommerce group GSI Commerce. Pahade declined
to discuss the specifics of his new role, but he said an official announcement could be expected within a month.
"I'm an entrepreneur at heart," said Pahade, who joined Denuo in
2006 after co-founding the digital ad shop Beyond Interactive (which was later bought by WPP Group). "This was an opportunity to go back and fulfill that again."
Former Denuo CEO Rishad Tobaccowala, who is now chief innovation officer of Publicis Groupe Media, said there were no immediate plans to replace Pahade. "I'm disappointed anytime someone talented leaves our group. But on the other hand, Nick has a fantastic opportunity, and we are happy for him because he is great at starting things."
