The New England company that came out with Reverse the Curse ice cream to support the Red Sox is offering 42,000 free "cherry on the top" frozen yogurt bars at all its locations.

Brigham's Ice Cream, which is backing the New England Patriots against the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII, chose the number of bars it will give away because it is the 42nd Super Bowl.

The chocolate-covered cherry frozen yogurt bars are available through kick-off time on Sunday. Brigham's Freezie Rider will be making surprise stops at highly trafficked locations throughout Greater Boston to give away bars.
