Channel M, which operates an out-of-home video network in retail and lifestyle venues, is bulking up for 2008 with an additional $6 million investment from the Ascend Venture Group and Vintage
Capital. The company also announced that Bill Apfelbaum, an outdoor advertising guru and the chairman of Titan Outdoor, is joining the board of directors. Apfelbaum, a longtime investor in Channel M,
will bring the benefit of his out-of-home ad expertise to the company.
