Microsoft Exec Gannholm Named Engineering VP At PopCap Games

PopCap Games announced that it has named Martin Gannholm as the company's vice president of engineering.

In the newly created position, Gannholm will oversee multiple teams in the development of technology to integrate casual games into new platforms, among other efforts.

Prior to joining Seattle-based PopCap, Gannholm spent four years as a senior member of Microsoft's business software division, most recently holding the position of architect and group program manager of Microsoft Office Live.
