Hitwise Gets New Director of Research

Heather Dougherty has been named director of research at Hitwise.

Dougherty most recently served as a senior retail analyst at Nielsen Online, and has more than 10 years of research experience, including a four-year stint at Jupiter Research. She speaks frequently at industry events such as Shop.org, Internet Retailer, Ad:tech and Search Engine Strategies.
