  • February 14, 2008
"I am committed to the future of the Daily News and its role in New York City," said Mort Zuckerman, chairman and publisher, as he announced that by the end of 2009, the newspaper will become the first major market daily in the U.S. to be printed entirely in color, thanks to new press equipment by KBA.

The new KBA presses, which are capable of replicating any color in the Pantone color spectrum, will provide Daily News advertisers with the opportunity to run high-resolution, full-color images on any page in the paper, in any size and on any day of the week. The New York Daily News is the largest and most widely read newspaper in New York City.
