ITunes Second Only To Wal-Mart In U.S. Music Sales

Apple's iTunes has become the second-largest music retailer in the U.S.--behind only Wal-Mart in terms of music sales in 2007, according to data from the NPD Group.
Cupertino, Calif.-based Apple distributes the digital music platform--which offers more than six million songs from major and independent labels--over the Web and via sales of its iPod portable music players.
