Gamers Media, Ad Network For Casual Gaming Goes Live

  • February 27, 2008
Advertisers in search of casual gaming inventory have a new ad network to try, as Gamers Media has gone live.

The New York-based ad network runs ads across more than 40 gaming properties including BigFishGames and Gamesville, reaching a reported 20 million unique visitors per month. Ad formats include banners, video, in-game, advergame and sponsorship options. Gamers Media is backed by Jay Gould, a former owner of the video social network Bolt.com, and runs on Adify's Build Your Own Network (BYON) platform.

"Online casual gaming is exploding. There are now 80+ million casual gamers in the U.S., which represents 40+% of the U.S. online population," Gould said. "And Gamers Media provides advertisers with an alternative beyond the limited large-scale casual game portals that currently exist."
