Walgreens To Sell Its Own Line Of Comfy Clothes

  • March 28, 2008
It's hard to argue with $7 pajamas.

Walgreens, proving that it can push the definition of "drug store" further than most, says it will roll out its own line of casual clothing next week, in nearly all of its 6,200 stores.

Dubbed Casual Gear, the new apparel line includes 15 basic styles for men and women, including short and long-sleeve T-shirts, yoga pants, sleep pants, hoodies and quilted vests, in mix and match colors.

Prices range from just $6.99 for T-shirts and tanks to $14.99 for hoodies and quilted vests. The line, which also includes socks and watches, "delivers an outstanding combination of comfort, convenience, quality and value we believe customers will appreciate," the company says.
