KSL Continues Roll, Racks Up Four New Biz Wins In Early '08

KSL Media, which broke the half billion billings mark during a record new business year in 2007, is continuing its roll into 2008. The agency Thursday announced four new business wins totaling an estimated $35 million in billings through the first three months of 2008.

The accounts include:

An estimated $10 million media services account for Publishers Clearing House, the magazine sweepstakes marketing firm. KSL will handle complete strategic planning and buying for direct-response television advertising.

An estimated $10 million account for TV direct response marketer Telebrands. KSL will provide analytics, strategy, media planning and buying for digital and direct-response television on $10 million worth of Telebrands advertising.

An estimated $10 million account for Michigan Citizens for Stem Cell Research & Cures, a coalition of medical, business, legal and educational organizations that is launching a statewide advertising program to educate consumers and seek legislative support for stem cell research. KSL will provide analytics, strategy, media planning and buying in print, broadcast and online for this $10 million account.

An estimated $5 million account for Double Coin, manufacturer of truck tires. KSL will handle all media planning and buying, which is concentrated in business-to-business publications.

The new business run brings KSL's billings to nearly $600 million, and makes it one of the largest independent media services agencies in the business.
