SEMPO Names Dana Todd Chairperson

The Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO) has announced its roster of elected officers for the upcoming fiscal year. Dana Todd, cofounder of La Jolla, Calif.-based search and Web design-focused interactive agency SiteLab, has been named Chairperson.

iCrossing's Jeff Pruitt will remain president and Google's Dave Fall will act as vice president. Meanwhile, Ron Jones of Symetri Internet Marketing will serve as treasurer and eMergent Marketing/Brulant's Chris Boggs has been named secretary.

SEMPO's new Board of Directors has set defining a set of search standards and best practices and expanding the SEMPO Institute's reach in terms of industry education as two of its initiatives for the term.
