Western Union Taps Eric S. Jackson To Head Communications

Jackson takes the post of SVP/global corporate communications.

In his new post, Jackson will be responsible for developing and directing communication strategies to strengthen Western Union's global competitive position and reputation among internal and external audiences. He will oversee corporate-wide employee communications, media relations, Web communications, issues and crisis management, as well as executive communications programs.

From 2002 to 2007, Jackson served as VP/worldwide corporate communications at FedEx, where he led its global reputation management and employee engagement efforts. He has also served as managing director of corporate communications for Siemens, director of global media strategy at Accenture and director of public affairs and communications at Novartis.
