Nestle Microsite Aims At Helping Chemotherapy Patients

  • May 20, 2008
Nestle HealthCare Nutrition has launched a new microsite aimed at patients undergoing chemotherapy.

The new site, http://cancer.nestlenutritionstore.com, is meant to provide patients with nutritional guidance during treatment and recovery. "We've developed this site as a way to deepen our commitment to helping people stay strong during a critical time in their lives," said Sean Foster, the Minnetonka, Minn., company's CMO, in a statement.

With an estimated 80 percent of cancer patients likely to develop some form of malnutrition, the site is meant to illustrate which nutrients are most important during each phase of treatment. The site also has an e-commerce component, allowing patients to buy Nestle HealthCare Nutrition products directly from their computers.--Aaron Baar
