BtoB Marketers Increase Lead-Gen Budgets

Nearly half of all business-to-business (BtoB) marketers plan to increase spending on lead-generation programs in the second half of 2008, according to a joint survey by BtoB magazine and the Sales Lead Management Association (SLMA).

BtoB and the SLMA surveyed more than 270 business-focused marketers, finding that about half of the respondents also said that increasing lead-generation initiatives was the top priority. A majority of respondents (40%) said that they planned to increase lead-gen spending by at least 11%, but not more than 20%.
