NetRatings Expands Analytics Team

NetRatings, Inc. has hired Robert Leathern as the Nielsen//NetRatings Commerce Analytics group director and senior analyst. NetRatings, Inc. is the provider of the Nielsen//NetRatings Internet audience measurement and analysis services. Leathern will lead the Commerce Analytics group, focusing on the online retail and payments markets. Previously, Leathern was a lead senior analyst with Jupiter Research's Payments and Retail practices. His research background examined topics on online financial transactions for consumers and businesses, the relationship between online and offline retail channels and the behavioral habits of online shoppers. Prior to his post at Jupiter, Leathern was an investment banker at Furman Selz, later a part of the ING Group.
