Corey Mitchell will join MRM Worldwide's New York office in September as executive vice president, managing director. Mitchell is currently president of Omnicom Group's TBWAChiatDay, the shop's Tequila unit and TBWA Health.

Mitchell moved to TBWAChiatDay in New York from the Los Angeles office as the worldwide managing director on the Mars Inc. business in June 2006. A year later, he was named president of TBWA New York. His ad career began in 1987 at Young & Rubicam in Australia, where he was an account executive. Over the next 13 years, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Y&R offices throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

MRM Worldwide in New York has more than 300 staffers and handles accounts including Microsoft, Intel, GM, Verizon, Mastercard, ExxonMobil, Nikon, Unilever and Kohl's.
