AdGent 007 Inks Deal With SinoTech Media, Opens Beijing Office
The San Francisco-based digital advertising and technology firm will manage direct sales across SinoTech Media's network of Chinese publishers. SinoTech Media (a division of SinoTech Group Limited) will in turn represent AdGent 007's publishers in the Chinese market. The deal is a move to deliver more relevant advertising to Chinese Web site visitors--regardless of the site's country of origin--and maximize revenue-generation opportunities for publishers in both networks.
"Today many of the world's premium publishers are seeing more international traffic than local traffic, yet they aren't monetizing the opportunity effectively," said Mathew McDougall, executive chairman and group CEO of SinoTech. "If a person in Beijing is reading the Times online in London, they should see an advertisement relevant to them locally, not a world away."
