MSNBC Creates Film Division, Ties Into Current Coverage

MSNBC is creating MSNBC Films to finance feature-length documentaries. The movies will focus on subjects the network already covers, reports The Hollywood Reporter. MSNBC currently commissiions docu-style shows, like its "Lockup" series. The first movie under the deal will be "Dear Zachary," Kurt Kuenne's story of a man murdered by his pregnant girlfriend.
