Online video network Tremor Media has opened a sales office in Toronto to lead its expansion into the Canadian market. It also opened new sales outposts in Detroit and Atlanta.

Rod Dodds will head the Toronto office as Canadian regional sales manager. He was previously at The Weather Network, managing relationships with major agencies in Canada including OMD, M2 Universal and Media Contacts.

Paul Kurrie was named as director of ad sales, Midwest, spearheading relations with the automotive industry and interactive agencies in Detroit as well as overseeing Tremor's regional sales efforts. Prior to joining the company, he was the regional sales manager, Midwest, for AOL's Platform-A.

Glen Caruso, who previously led southeast regional sales at Tacoda, joins Tremor in the same capacity in Atlanta.

In addition to its North American moves, Tremor recently accelerated its overseas expansion with a strategic investment from the European Founders Fund.
