Hallmark Launches Net's First Online Series

Hallmark Channels For the Love of Grace Hallmark Channel is launching the net's first online series to promote its roster of family-friendly original movies as well as Hollywood films. 

The new microsite, "Hallmark Channel on Location," will feature interviews with stars and creative talents--writers and directors--and will cover red-carpet premieres. On-set stories will showcase moviemaking. The site, which launches August 15, is available at www.hallmarkchannel.com.

Stacey Gualandi will produce each episode and will serve as the series interviewer and host. Previously, Gualandi was a West Coast correspondent for "Inside Edition" and a breaking news reporter for "TV Guide Network." She began her career as Molly Ringwald's stand-in in "Fresh Horses."

For its debut, "Hallmark Channel on Location" visits the set of "For the Love of Grace," starring Mark Consuelos, Chandra West and Corbin Bernsen; it will air August 30.

Hallmark Channel, owned by Crown Media Holdings, is a basic cable network that reaches a national audience of nearly 84 million subscribers. It is distributed through more than 5,450 cable systems and direct-to-home satellite services. Crown Media also operates Hallmark Movie Channel, which plays classic family movies, and launched Hallmark Movie Channel HD in April.
