The Monster Breakfast Sandwich kicks off new positions for Carl's Jr.'s breakfast menu, featuring the tagline, "Breakfast as big as our burgers."

The newest mega-sized morning offering is filled with two eggs, two strips of bacon, a sausage patty and Swiss and American cheeses piled between grilled sourdough bread. It comes to a whopping 750 calories, 440 of them from fat and provides 177% of the RDA of cholesterol. It will sell for $2.89 a la carte (three one-thousandths of a cent per calorie) or $4.49 as part of a combo.--Nina M. Lentini
