John Farrell, president and CEO of the Publicis Groupe's Specialised Agencies and Marketing Services (SAMS), has resigned, effective July 1, 2009. Farrell joined Publicis Groupe in 2003 as a result of
the B/Com3 acquisition, where he was worldwide president and CEO of D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles. Under his leadership, Publicis Groupe's SAMS operations have grown from 23% to 36%.
