Murdoch Paid 24% More While Stock Slumps

Rupert Murdoch, chief of News Corp., received compensation valued at $30.1 million this year, an increase of 24% from last year. Murdoch also received $403,169 in perquisites -- 13% more than in 2007 -- primarily for personal use of the company's jet and car services.
