  • September 3, 2008
Voxbone, a provider of local telephone numbers and VoIP transport, is opening an Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore that will be led by Lee Tian Yew, vice president for Asia-Pacific.

Voxbone has received licenses to operate in both Japan and Hong Kong. Voxbone now operates in 44 countries and 5,000 cities globally.

"We are bullish about the explosive growth in new applications due to the pervasiveness of broadband and the increase in access speeds, particularly in APAC countries," said Rodrigue Ullens, CEO and co-founder of Voxbone.

Voxbone services, which include DID (direct inward dialing) and toll-free numbers are deployed by mobile operators, PSTN carriers, VoIP providers, call center operators and NGN service providers worldwide.--Tanya Irwin
