What’s the real inspiration behind Hulu? According to Kilar, it’s street sweepers. Yeah, that’s right, those guys and gals who push brooms to make America â€" and other places â€" more beautiful.

Kilar said Hulu’s role model is based on a level of quality detail that Walt Disney Co. founder Walt Disney used to obsess on. Which is to ensure that his parks were always swept clean.

“That’s been an inspiration for Hulu,” he said.
