Hachette, Quattro Strikes Mobile Ad Deal

Magazine publisher Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. has signed a multi-year advertising deal with mobile ad network Quattro Wireless.

Under the agreement, Quattro will be Hachette's exclusive mobile ad sales partner, developing redesigned mobile sites for titles including Car and Driver, ELLE, Premiere and Woman's Day. It also promises to create new advertising opportunities including custom banner creative and mobile sponsorships.

Hachette, which claims an audience of 60 million through its magazines, Web sites, and mobile content, launched its mobile presence in 2006. For its part, Quattro most recently teamed up with Cox Newspapers to launch 19 newspaper mobile sites.--Mark Walsh
