P&G Signs Gyllenhaal For Duracell

Procter & Gamble's Duracell division has signed actress Maggie Gyllenhaal as brand spokesperson for its yearly holiday campaign. The effort centers on a "casting call" to find Duracell holiday ambassadors.

Children between the ages of 6 and 15 are invited to participate via online and in-person casting calls. The online search is at www.PowerASmile.com through Nov. 3, where parents can upload their children's photos.

Winners get a trip to New York City to meet Gyllenhaal, a $500 shopping spree and Duracell batteries.--Karl Greenberg
