Telemundo Cuts Staff 5%

NBCU's Spanish-language television division, Telemundo, is cutting staff by 5%. At least 85 jobs are affected. Ironically, the net's ratings are up in prime time, but local TV stations are hard-hit by ad losses in auto and retail. Two key markets for Telemundo--LA and Miami--have been badly hurt in the economic slump.
