Jodi Kahn Named To Lead iVillage

  • October 21, 2008
Jodi Kahn has been named executive vice president of the iVillage Network, reporting directly to Lauren Zalaznick, President, NBC Universal Women and Lifestyle Entertainment Networks.

Separately, Rebecca Miskin was promoted to general manager at the women's' online network. Both executives will assume their new posts Nov. 3.

Kahn is taking over a position vacated in August by Deborah Fine after she left to become president for digital strategy at the Universal Television Group. In her new role, she will oversee ad sales, technology, research and marketing, as well as establishing outside partnerships at iVillage.

Most recently, Kahn was president for global digital media for Readers Digest Association, responsible for key site launches and the expansion of the company's digital content. Previously, she led Time for Kids and was vice president of Time Inc. Interactive, overseeing the integration of Time Web properties and AOL.

Miskin will now be in charge of editorial content, product development, and partnerships for the core iVillage sites, while continuing to lead the daily business operations and growth of iVillage U.K. and Astrology.com.--Mark Walsh
