College Students Get Sociable Search Site

  • October 22, 2008
Entrepreneur Jordan Goldman, 27, and Deepend New York, an interactive marketing agency, have unveiled a search platform dubbed Unigo to give students a destination for information and resources about colleges on the Web.

The platform, developed from reviews and experiences, provides insight on likes and dislikes about curriculums, campuses and more from students attending colleges across the country. Today, more than 200 colleges are profiled, with plans to expand the database to include every college in America. The site offers tens of thousands of candid and authentic college reviews, videos, photos, documents and more, all searchable within an online student community.

Unigo's editors have networked with students at colleges and universities nationwide to secure more than 30,000 student reviews and materials now available on the site. Content is free to users at www.unigo.com.--Laurie Sullivan
