Very often, a story will become a story because it's said, not because there's anything that's actually being said. Earlier this week there was an announcement from the CW that spotlighted its journey
into responsible journalism, turning valuable entertainment programming time over to coverage of the Biggest Story Ever of 2008 - Election Night. This Most Important Election of Your Lifetime is
relevant to the CW's viewers for one major reason - for most of them, it's the first Presidential election that they can actually participate in. This alone should make it noteworthy for their
viewers, even though John McCain hasn't been part of their target demographic since the Radio Age.
