JumpTap has appointed Dennis Arndt vice president of engineering to oversee development of mobile search and advertising solutions for the Cambridge, Mass.-based company.

Arndt has delivered on a host of solutions and software for the enterprise market throughout his 22 year career. Prior to JumpTap, he served as VP of global engineering for Monster Worldwide, where he was responsible for the strategic vision of the technology and product architecture for the employer-related product suite.

Prior to Monster, Arndt was executive director of development at Omgeo, where he led development of the company's suite of 12 product lines. He also has held positions at IBM, Harte Hanks Data Technologies, and e-tractions Corp., Progress Software, Digital Equipment Corp. and Wang Laboratories. --Laurie Sullivan
