Can a TV show influence voters? Apparently, the political comedy of "Saturday Night Live" had some effect. According to FirstView, a national public opinion survey released by Roll Call, Strat@comm and Fleishman-Hillard Public Affairs, two-thirds of voters saw SNL's political parodies this election season. FirstView claims that 10% of those surveyed said they were influenced by the skits. Six percent said the skits made them more likely to vote for Obama, while 4% were more likely to vote for McCain. Data also showed that 59% of those who saw the "SNL" routines voted for Obama, and 39% voted for McCain.
