USA Today launched an application on the Apple App Store that gives consumers access to the latest news, headlines, weather, photos and interactive polls. The free application runs on iPhone and iPod touch.

Consumers using an iPhone or iPod touch can access articles from News, Money, Sports, Life, Tech and Travel sections, and can share them through email, text message and Twitter, or save them to read at a later time.

The latest weather conditions are available, too, with up-to-the minute regional radar and five-day forecast for exact location via GPS. For example, the application provides access to national weather maps, including Doppler radar, temperature and precipitation forecasts.--Laurie Sullivan
