Bloggermosaic has launched a new application on Facebook that allows users to search for blogs by searching thumbnail photos of bloggers posted on its Web site. An image is linked directly to the person's blog.

Started only two months ago, Dallas-based Bloggermosaic is intended to give bloggers another way to promote their sites. "Photo spots" on its site are bought by the pixel size. Standard rates are 25 cents a pixel for individual bloggers and 50 cents for corporate ones, although the company's site indicates that those rates are currently being discounted.

Facebook bloggers who install the application and sign up to be a "fan" of Bloggermosaic will get the chance to win one of 250 spots on Bloggersmosaic for a month of free exposure. --Mark Walsh
