House Ads Represent Nearly 20% of Online Advertising

A new report released yesterday by AdRelevance, a division of Media Metrix, reveals that house advertising accounts for almost 20% of all available online advertising inventory.

The report looked at house advertising on the 500 highest trafficked ad-supported sites between January and April 2000 and determined that House advertising accounted for more than 17 billion online ad impressions out of a total of 92 billion impressions.
