Ed:Blog February 2009
Well, well, well, MediaVest, Ed:Blog sees what you did. Don't think we haven't noticed. We know you like to keep your dealings shrouded in a cloak of secrecy. Are you hiding something, MediaVest? You must have been beside yourselves when Editor Pollice managed, despite your torture techniques, to compile the elusive data for the Top 25 Agencies of the Year.
Our chart in last month's issue seemed to be missing something when the mag arrived. Editor Pollard noticed it first. He'd labored to construct the chart, despite the poison darts collecting near his desk, and he'd sent the file via a secure ftp server to the press in Greenfield, Ohio.
The ninja assassins sent to take out our dear, darling kpp were a bit much, MediaVest, even for you. Thank god, Editor Wiegand was there to save her - though we haven't seen Wiegand around the office for a few days. If you harmed one blond hair on her head ... well, you know what Editor McEwan is capable of, MediaVest.
For the record, reader, MediaVest Digital came in at No. 4 on our chart, should have been listed in the $300-$499 million range, is based in New York with two offices focused on interactive, and has 100+ employees. But you are crafty, oh so crafty, aren't you, MediaVest, and that information didn't make it to the press, did it?
We have only one question: How did you infiltrate our printer?
We shudder to think of the horrors you visited on poor, sweet Carmalita at RR Donnelley. That woman has an iron will, and would not have cracked easily.
The full chart, including your data, MediaVest, can now be found online and downloaded at mediapost.com/events/ommaaoy/images/aoychart.pdf. Editor Mui courageously posted it, despite the attempts on his life. You can stop sending your goons to the office now, Biederman.
