GameFly Takes Ad Campaign Offline
Jan 20, 2009, 7:18 AM
AMI Meganet, a joint venture between Merit Entertainment and AMI Entertainment, announced that online video game rental service GameFly has launched an interactive advertising campaign through AMI Meganet's digital out-of-home network. It offers games for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo Wii, among others.
Aside from viewing GameFly ads, gamers can sign up for a free trial subscription to the video game service through more than 15,000 broadband-enabled Megatouch video games and video AMI Jukeboxes found in bars, restaurants and other social hotspots around the country.
In December, GameFly introduced ads on Megatouch games through the AMI Meganet network. The complete launch begins this month with the addition of AMI jukeboxes. The campaign will run through December 2009.--Laurie Sullivan
