News Corp. May Face 22% Earnings Slide In '09

Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. may face a 22% slide in earnings this year, warns Deutsche Bank, given the growing global financial crisis, according to the Sydney Morning Herald. The Deutsche media analyst Andrew Anagnostellis cited poor U.S. ad demand, weak DVD sales, slower growth at MySpace and weakness in overseas markets among the reasons for the prediction.
